The Coach

Head Coach -- Todd Thorstad

Coach Thorstad enters his 9^th year guiding the Warrior Softball team (158-102 record).  Thorstad has guided his teams to four straight MCAC titles, four straight Region 13A titles and his teams have place 4^th, 6^th, 6^th  and 7^th in the NJCAA National Tournament.  He has also coached six All-American softball players at Ridgewater. Todd Thorstad earned his BA degree from St. John’s University and has two MA degrees from St. Cloud State University.  Coach Thorstad also serves as the Athletic Director and as a Physical Education instructor for Ridgewater College.  Thorstad has coached, taught, and directed athletics at the high school (KMS, Lac Qui Parle Valley) and college (SCSU) levels.  Todd is a native of Danube, MN and presently lives in Spicer, MN with his wife Michelle and their son Trent..
