 Ridgewater was crowned MCAC 2009 Dual
Meet Champions going undeafeted on the conference season. They also a
took home the tile of 2009 MCAC
State Champions at this years region meet. Ridgewater had four Individual
State Champions: 133 Jake Patnode of Brainerd,.149 Trevor Krueger of Barnseville,
157 Chase Tempel of Aberdeen and
Hwt Cody Kinney of Kerkoven. Coach Beyer was named MCAC Coach of the Year
for 2009
The Warriors qualified eight individuals into the 2009 National
Tournament. As a team they placed 9th in division III Non Scholarship
Division.
The future looks bright for the Warriors who will lose two starters
from the 2008-09 team. Next years team will be lead by seven returning
national qualifiers and ten returning sophomores.
