This webpage is for the Willmar Campus Electronics program offerings, please see the Ridgewater College website for Hutchinson Campus Electronics related program offerings. General Electronics Program Information Brief Program Explanation: The Electronics Department on the Willmar campus consists of two programs; Electronics Technician and Wireless Communications. Students have the option to complete either program with a diploma or an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, both are 2 year programs and are 72 credits total. All Electronics students complete the same core component level electronics courses during their first year and then choose between Electronics Technician or Wireless Communications for their second year courses. Wireless Dept Camera 1—Located over courtyard area of the college (When using Internet Explorer it may be necessary to right click on the link and select “open link in new tab”) Wireless Dept Camera 2—Located in back parking lot of college (When using Internet Explorer it may be necessary to right click on the link and select “open link in new tab”) Current Weather Information being reported to Weather Underground from the weather station installed on one of the towers Outside the Wireless Lab Willmar Area Radio Scanner Audio: The scanner audio streams over the internet via Shoutcast. To listen to the audio you will need to install Winamp software. Then click here to listen to the scanner—select open with Winamp when prompted to open or save the file. It will connect and you should hear radio traffic periodically.
