The mission of Ridgewater College's information technology department is to provide responsive and service oriented technology support to students, faculty and staff that exceeds expectations.

We will accomplish this mission by:

1. Building and maintaining a strong technological infrastructure.

2. Staying up to date with current and developing opportunities in instructional and information technology in order to provide recommendations on long term strategy and direction, and to act as a general resource for the College community. In consultation with appropriate user representation, select and recommend computing, communications and instructional technology solutions.

The general goal of the department staff is to deliver successful solutions to our college community by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations. The department encourages its staff members to be cordial to the users, develop a strong sense of responsibility for themselves and for the user community, work in a team environment, and do their best with the limited resources available.
