Ridgewater College has built a strong reputation for its music and theater arts curricula and the quality of its performing groups.  Students interested in majoring in music,
art or theater arts at a four-year college or university will be well-served by our faculty.   

What we Offer Ridgewater College provides a full complement of high quality coursework in the fine and performing arts.  Our programs will enable you to complete a fully transferable pre-major in two years.  Ridgewater maintains art galleries on both its Willmar and Hutchinson campuses, produces three major theatrical productions each year (including a musical production), provides training in music theory, sight singing and ear training, training on selected instruments and voice, choir and vocal ensemble instruction and performances, national tours, a full year of introductory acting instruction, and much more!
